Feeling du Fond des Camp
When asked to choose a Beauceron from my dog’s pedigree, I immediately knew that I had to write about Feeling. Feeling du Fond des Camps has produced some really phenomenal dogs like Jaeger du Murier de Sordeille or her granddaughter GCH Mirror Image du Coeur de Soleil CGCA. I was lucky enough to meet her back in 2018 when I attended the French National d’Elevage. At the time, she was still going strong at 11 years old. She’s since passed away.
So what is so special about this Beauceron? She not only has a lovely temperament, she throws wonderful temperaments to her offspring and grandchildren. Anyone who has met pups from her lines can speak to the strength of the genetic temperament in her lines. When I met her, she was full of energy and confidence, even if it was at a bit of a slower pace than I’m sure she had in her prime.
When I was deciding where to get my next dog, I knew that I wanted her in the lines. Not only for the temperament, but also for her aesthetic. She is the epitome of breed type from her lovely head to her rear assembly. It is rare to both be a winner and to throw winners. She’s the combination of beauty and brains, and she reproduces herself. What more could I ask for?
