ABC Club members, please know that a financial review committee (audit) has been appointed and approved. Many thanks to Caitlyn Bailey (chair), Susan Pamplin-Griffin, Crystal Bomer, and Regina Fasold for volunteering for this committee and the tasks involved. Treasurer Ashley DeNoma is providing statements for them to review, and will be available to the committee for their questions. This review will cover 01/01/2019 – 12/31/2020 for all ABC accounts including the PayPal account, and is scheduled to be conducted from 05/01/2021 – 7/31/2021, with a report to the membership in the August meeting. Also, this committee will provide three estimates for potential external audit providers that can be presented to the club, if it seems that an external review is warranted. It is our hope and intention that this review provides the transparency that the club deserves, while taking incremental steps in adhering to our financial responsibilities to the club. Please know we will be transparent and adhere to our duties as a BOD.
